Fees

I charge the following fees:

One-to-one tuition
£40 per hour (or £35 per hour for six weekly lessons booked and paid for in advance) 

Two students taught together
£25 per hour each (or £20 per hour each for six weekly lessons booked and paid for in advance)

If you are wondering why my fees are higher than some other tutors, please have a look at my academic qualifications and professional background. Private tuition is my full-time employment and I have substantial experience of working with students and helping them achieve the highest grades. I am not someone who tutors for a bit of extra cash but without any real commitment or experience. My skill lies in having a detailed understanding of examinations: the specifications, the exam papers and the marking process.

My students receive full access to this site, which includes substantial banks of past exam papers and mark schemes. I have invested time and money in putting these resources together and much of the material is not freely available elsewhere.

I am always happy to talk to parents about the progress of their children as well as offering advice on the options open to them. I don't charge extra for this.

I am happy to be paid by cash or by cheque (made payable to "Dotmaths Ltd").
