I'm Matthew Handy, Director of Mathematics at dotmaths tuition.
I set up and run this site.

Mathematics tuition
I provide one-to-one and small group tuition in A-level Maths and Further Maths (including AEA, STEP and Oxbridge) and help with undergraduate and post-graduate courses with mathematical content.

UCAS and Oxbridge
I provide advice on university entrance, including UCAS personal statements and Oxbridge admission.

Fees
I charge the following fees:

One-to-one tuition
£35 per hour (or £30 per hour for six lessons booked and paid for in advance)

Group of two students taught together
£20 per hour each

Group of three students taught together
£15 per hour each

Locations
I teach in my offices in York (see photos in the box below) and Harrogate.

Small print
I try to be as flexible as possible with lesson times. Where you are unable to attend a lesson I will try to book an alternative time for you. If this is not possible and if you cancel the lesson with less than 24 hours notice, I will have to charge you for the lesson.

History
dotmaths tuition was formerly known as Salinger’s. It was conceived in 1992 and first started teaching in Oxford in 1998. In 2006 it became a limited company. Its birthday is 10th April.
